Average cost for accommodation in Australia

Question Description
What is the average cost for accommodation in Australia. Propably I'll prefer on campus accommodation but please tell me about average cost for both on campus and off campus accommodations.

The cost for accommodation in Australia varies according to place you live. In cities, like Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra.... the living cost is higher in compare to other places.

The average cost for on campus accommodations is AU $250 whereas for off campus accommodation it is around AU $350. If you choose homestay, the cost for accommodation in Australia will be around AU $400. These are the average costs per week for each student.
