Question Description
What will be the cost of accommodation per year if one is living outside London?
Answer

Hello friend, I am browsing for some other stuff and happen to enter into this website. I am an Indian student now staying in Birmingham. I don't know living costs for other cities. But international students like me with a normal living standard require approximately £9000 per year as a living cost to stay here in Birmingham. I am dividing this cost into various costs for your convenience:

Rent £3700
Food £2000
Clothes £415
Utility (gas, electricity, water) £380
Communication (Cell Phone) £415
Transportation £300
Leisure/Entertainment (movie, TV license) £330
Study Costs (books, stationeries, photocopies) £365
Internet £200
Laundry £150
Miscellaneous £500
Total £8755

I am glad for being able to give a preview of the living cost here in Birmingham. The above costs are approximate costs. I suggest you to contact the institution you are going to join to know the exact costs.
