Question Description
I want to pursue a career in MBA and I want to have my MBA in 1 year. I have only one year of work experience in Insurance Sector. I have done my job along with my studies (full time). Iím appearing for last year bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Insurance. Please let me know about the intakes as well as the procedure. What entrance exams should be given? Which are the universities there?

Students with one year of work experience generally donít qualify for admission. You must have at least 2 years of work experience to be eligible for admission. However, if you can show outstanding executive quality, top business schools may accept you for admission.

For admission, youíll need to take GMAT test. Score above 700 in GMAT test is considered.

Intakes are different for different business school. Usually there are two intakes in the month of January and July but some schools have three intakes in February, July, and November.

You can find list of top MBA colleges here:

Since admission procedure and requirements vary depending upon school you choose, I suggest you to visit the university website to get information about procedure and requirements for admission of respective business school.

One year MBA is available only in UK. If you want, you can take admission either from universities directly or through any authorized university representative, no GMAT is needed, only IELTS of 6 band score is sufficient.
