Question Description
I am an Electrical Engineer with 5.5 years of Work Experience. I graduated in the year 2002. I have taken GRE and TOEFL iBT in the year 2007. My score in following test are as follows:

GRE:
Verbal – 540
Quantitative – 770
Analytical Writing – 3.5

TOEFL iBT – 105

I want to know about my chances for admission into top 20 engineering schools in USA in 2009. Also, suggest me about courses that will suit my profile best.
Answer

Getting admission into any of the top universities is really difficult. They have thousands of applicants to choose from. Unless you are exceptional and seem better than other applicants, they’ll not be accepted for admission. But, you TOEFL iBT score is quite good and GRE score is also fine. So, if you have good previous academic records, you may have good chance for being accepted.

The programs related to your Bachelor’s degree will be suitable for you. You may apply for ME in Electrical Engineering or even ME in Computer Engineering.
