Admission Requirements and Procedures for MBA in US Universities

What are the basic requirements that need to be fulfilled to do MBA in USA? What are the eligibility criteria for MBA application? What documents are required during application process? Do I need to appear for any standardized test or not?
Admission process to join MBA program in US universities is similar to admission process to join other post graduate level programs. You must be concerned about the admission process - one year to one and half year earlier from the date of admission. It is because getting admitted for MBA in US business schools is time consuming, effort consuming, and expensive process. Time and effort consuming in the sense that most of the business school usually ask for your scores of GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS tests and it takes a lot of time and effort for you to prepare for such tests. The desirable date to appear for such tests will also be very difficult to arrange. Also, it takes some time to get score after appearing for such tests. Expensive in the sense that the application fees just to apply to business schools is very high. Also, you need to make sure that your documents will reach to the concerned universities in time. That means you have to pay a considerable amount of money to the courier service providers.
Each business schools have its own admission procedure and application requirements. You can visit respected website of such business schools to review their admission procedure.

Application forms can either be directly downloaded from the respected website of the business school or will be sent to you through post after filling up the requisition form. Some of the business schools may have system to fill up form directly through their website. If your business school sends you the application form, you have to fill up the form.
