I want to know the full information about procedure to apply for admission at Oxford University. How can I get admission there, and what are the rules for the entrance test?

The requirements for admission at Oxford University vary depending upon the program you choose and the level you want to admit into.

For undergraduate level:
You must have A-level or equivalent qualification. For country based academic requirements to apply for admission at Oxford University into an undergraduate program, please visit: http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate_courses/international_students/internationalqualifications/index.html

Language requirements:

  • For undergraduate level program, you need to have minimum of 7.0 band scores in IELTS, with at least 7.0 in each section.
  • Similarly, you must have a score of at least 100 in TOEFL iBT, and 600 in TOEFL PBT with 5.5 in writing module.

For graduate level:

Language requirements:

  • For postgraduate level program, you need to have minimum of 7.5 band scores in IELTS with scores not below than 7.0 in each individual sections.
  • In TOEFL iBt, the minimum score required is 109, whereas, in TOEFL PBT, the minimum score required is 630 with at least 5.5 in writing test.
