What will be the living expense in Spain for international students? I am from United States and I'm planning to go Spain for summer study this year.

Actually, living cost for students in Spain depends on lifestyle of the student. However, the average cost of living for student in Spain may vary from 750-1400.

Here are brief figure of student living costs in Spain:
Rent: 11/sq. meter (Madrid), 6/sq. meter (Sevilla), and other parts: around 4/sq. meter. All rent costs are per month.

Food: 130/month

Electricity Bills: 40/month

Gas Fuel: 40/month

Phone: 25/month

All the costs mentioned here are rough sketches only.

Lower your living standard, lower will be your living cost. You may be able to reduce your cost of living. Good Luck.
