Question Description
I'm from New Delhi, India. I want to do M. Phil from any reputed university in UK. What are the requirements for international students to do M. Phil in United Kingdom? Please tell me all the requirements for admission in Master of Philosophy. Thanks.

MPhil degree is usually awarded in several subjects. The requirements to study MPhil in UK may be different depending upon subject and university you choose. However, Iíll try to discuss some general requirements get MPhil degree from UK.

Applying for Admission
To apply for admission, youíll need to fill up an admission form. Once filled, admission form along with other documents should be submitted to apply for admission. The application fee may range from £20 to £50 depending upon university you choose. Usually, application fee is non-refundable.

Documents required to apply for admission:
Official transcripts of previous level studies
Essay for admission
References from your instructors
Language proficiency proof
Proof of sufficient funds

These documents must be submitted to admission department of a university to apply for admission.

English Language requirements:
Most universities look for applicants with at least 6.0 score in IELTS. However, some are found to ask for at least 7.0 score in IELTS.

Cost for Study:
A tuition fee in UK is generally more in compare to Australia, USA, and Canada. For MPhil tuition fee is found to vary from £8000 to £12000 per year depending upon subject and university you choose.
