I want to study in England but I donít have IELTS. Right now I am in Germany. Since 2006 I am here in Germany. I came here to study but I am having problems in German language so I want to go to England. Actually I am from Nepal. In Nepal, I have completed my 12th grade. So can someone please help me how I can go to England and what do I need? If possible can you please give me the names of universities over there which donít require IELTS. I would be so thankful to you. I want to start my studies in this summer semester 2009. I want to study hotel management or anything else. It doesnít matter.
IELTS is compulsory at most of the universities or colleges in England. Some extremely low ranked universities or colleges accept students without IELTS. Obtaining a visa after getting admission at such low ranked universities is difficult. Some good universities accept students without IELTS but under few conditions like: they may take their own English proficiency test or admit you into an ESL (English as a Second Language) class. Joining ELS class will cost you more and chance of getting visa will also be low. So I suggest you to take IELTS test before applying for admission or visa because it will help you get rid of several possible problems.
You can find few universities which accept students without IELTS here:
From Germany, you may not be allowed to apply for British student visa. So you may need to return Nepal before applying for a British visa. But for detail information you better contact British Consulate office or British High Commission in Germany near you.
