Question Description
I have completed my 10+2 in medical. Then I underwent for the training of medical lab technician at Kerala. It was 2 yrs diploma course. I got first division in 1999. Right now I have 7 yrs experience of working as a lab technician but the opportunities in India are very low & my income is not so good. I want to go Australia but financially I am not so good. Please advice me is there any I can go to Australia?

Australian government provides financial support to international students but it is quite difficult to get this support. There are several scholarship programs sponsored by Australian government. The process to apply for different scholarship program may be different. Since, the competition is keen; the chance of getting these scholarships is very low. However, if you are outstanding, you may get these scholarships.

Information on Australian government sponsored scholarships available for undergraduate level is available here:,15500,18179,18199,16301,16341,17820

For postgraduate level, same information can be found here:,15500,18179,18199,16301,16340,17779

You though you donít get these scholarships, there are several university sponsored scholarships. Universities generally provide merit-based scholarships and there is high probability of obtaining scholarships sponsored by universities in Australia.
