Question Description
How much per hour can international student earn in Ireland? I am student from Singapore. I am studying currently in National University of Singapore and in near future, I am transferring to the University of Dublin. Do anybody have solution for my query?
Answer

The average wage rate is fixed at Euro 8.65 per hour for any experienced adult employee who is over 18 years and who has at least 2 years of work experience in any job according to Irish National Wage Act 2000. This rate is effective from July 1st, 2007. The citizenship doesn't matter for the payment of work done. Whether the employee is international student or immigrants or any national, the wage is paid according to the skill of the employee. There is no restriction to employer to pay higher to the employee.
