Question Description
What is the method for finding jobs in New York? Is it easy to find jobs in New York? Where should students look for jobs?
Answer

It isn't much difficult to find jobs in New York like in some other parts of United States. Most of the students seem to find jobs soon after their arrival in New York.

The vacancies are mentioned in University notice boards where you can apply. But these are on-campus jobs. If you think of working off-campus, you'll need to obtain SSN (Social Security Number). After you have SSN, you can go out of college to do part-time jobs. To find jobs in New York City, you also can search for student jobs in websites like Monster.com.
