Question Description
Is it difficult to get investment banking job after 30+? I am planning to go for MBA to a reputed school in US at the age of 31. I have seven years of accounting experience. I have written books on economics and finance and many articles in several news papers and magazines. I have also cleared FRM. I am completing American CFA and CMA. So can I get investment banking job after my MBA in Finance.

Also, can any one please suggest me an online course in statistics or calculus for my pre MBA preparation?
Answer

The age of most of the people who get job in investment banks ranges from 30 to 45. So your age will not create any problem. Many students get their MBA degree after they cross age of 30 so I donít see any point to worry. Go ahead and join the MBA program. My best wishes are with you.
