Question Description
Can an international student be able to work in USA while studying? Is it possible to take both studies and work side by side. I am planning to fulfill my living expense requirements through part time jobs in USA.
Answer

Yes, it's possible to work while studying in the USA. The federal government permits all international students to do up to 20 hrs of part-time work per hour on-campus. Actually, many international students do the part-time jobs on-campus. Whether you can take both work and study side by side or not depends on your ability to manage time. If you decide to work part-time, it's better to take less credit hour classes to reduce the study pressure you may have in the college. However, be aware that all the international students are required to registered as a full-time students in any of the universities in the USA. Full student status means 12 credit hours in Semester system or 8 credit hours in Quarter system.
