I would like to know about life of students in Denmark. What is the job opportunity available there for international students and how much can I earn with part-time work?
People in Denmark have very high standard life. Tuition fee is free; but students will have to pay for living. To support the cost of living, students get involved in part-time jobs. International students are allowed to work up to 15 hours a week. Danish students may not like to be friends with international students but there are many other international students with whom you can maintain friendship. If you want to visit bars, join the student clubs, or get involved in other social activities, then you can even make the Danish friends.
During the beginning weeks, international students are instructed about culture of Danish society which helps international students to be social with Danish people. Those who don’t know Danish language are also offered separate Danish language course which will help you learn Danish language and make you feel more comfort with Danish society. After learning Danish, there’ll also be higher possibility of finding part-time jobs because most jobs are offered to students who have knowledge in Danish language.
Students who work part-time earn from €11 to €14. How much you earn as a part-time worker depends on your skill, age, and type of job you prefer to do.
