![]() I had asked same question to one of my friends and she had answered "Master of Biology and Bachelor of Science". I thought it was correct because it was logical. But later I came to know the real full form of MBBS was "Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery". ![]() MBBS comes from the Latin word "Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae" are the two first professional degrees awarded upon graduation from medical school in medicine and surgery by universities in various countries. The naming suggests that they are two separate degrees; however, in practice, they are usually treated as one and awarded together. Source: http://fullforms.com/MBBS
