Choosing between ACCA and CIMA

I am a student of Business studies, and I got an offer letter for both ACCA and CIMA. Which subject will be better for me? And, which one is more demanding in the world?

Hello Priodarsha, When it comes to ACCA vs CIMA, different people have different views about which one is better. However, I think you must make a decision considering where you want to work and what you want to become. ACCA specially means for those who want to work in a general practice, whereas, CIMA means for those who want to work in industries or service sectors. The syllabus of ACCA focuses more on technical sides of the accounting practice. On the other hand, the syllabus of CIMA focuses more on management reporting, strategy making and organizational structures. In the future, if you want to work as a corporate accountant, auditor, tax accountant, or similar personnel, you definitely have to choose ACCA. But, to work as a planner, strategy maker, budget manager, or similar personnel, choose CIMA. I hope it helps. Rate it!
