Question Description
How does GRE differ from GMAT? What makes GRE and GMAT different? Give me all the differences between GRE and GMAT Test.
Answer

GMAT is Graduate Management Admission Test which is designed to check the ability of students to study Management courses whereas GRE is Graduate Record Exam designed to check the ability of undergraduate students to study degree courses. GRE deals with other subjects than management. But almost all the universities ask students to take GMAT test before admitting into MBA programs.

The total score for GRE Test is 2400 whereas for GMAT Test it is 800. The sections for both tests are same which are: Quantitative section, Verbal Section, and Writing Section.

The time for Quantitative section of GRE is 75 minutes but for GMAT it is 45 minutes. Similarly, time for Verbal section and Writing section for GRE are 75 and 30 minutes respectively which are 30 and 30 minutes for GMAT.

The common section is Writing Section with 30 minutes each.
