Question Description
What will happen if the student postpone or cancel the IELTS Test?

For IELTS test, you have to notify the test administrators 5 weeks prior to the test date to cancel or postpone your test. If you make a request when there is less than 5 weeks time, there is no way your test will be postponed or cancelled until you become able to show some medical evidences that you cannot take the test because you are not medically fit. But this request also has to be made 5 days prior to the test date. If you donít make a request before 5 weeks for normal cause and before 5 days for medical cause there is no way your test date will be postponed or cancelled and youíll not be refunded. You'll have to register for IELTS again paying full IELTS fee if you wish to retake the test.

But if you make successful request to postpone or cancel the test, youíll be refunded deducting 25% of total test fee as administrative fee.
