I want to get admission into an engineering program so I intend to take GRE test. But I have heard GRE and GMAT are same. Is that true? Can I take GMAT instead of GRE? Please guide me.
GMAT isnít a substitute for GRE. GMAT and GRE mean for different purposes. GMAT is specially designed for management students who intend to join a program like MBA whereas GRE is designed for technical students who intend to join engineering or other related programs.
As you are planning to join Engineering program, youíll need to take a GRE test. Universities will seek for your GRE score before accepting you for admission into their university.
