There are six speaking tasks in the speaking portion of the TOEFL test. Two independent tasks and four integrated tasks. The first of the independent task is called the "Free Choice" task. In Free Choice task, you have 15 seconds to prepare for your answer and 45 seconds to respond.

7. If you had to live on a deserted island, what 3 things would you bring with you and why?

8. What is your favorite place in your city? Use reasons to support your response.

9. What is your favorite movie? Use reasons and details to support your response.

10. If you had the chance to learn one new thing, what would it be and why?

As you can read from these questions, you are expected to speak about these topics from your own experience in a concise, logical, and clear manner.
