How many bands are required on IELTS to study in Finland?

How many band scores should I get to get a study visa for Finland? Please elaborate the number of bands in IELTS required to be obtain to get a study visa for Finland.

To study in Finland, it will be better if you have knowledge of Finnish language otherwise you may have problem to get adjusted there. Not having knowledge of Finnish language may also keep you away from a chance to work part-time. If you don’t know Finnish and want to go there with you English language, then you’ll have to take English language proficiency tests like IELTS and TOEFL. As you have asked about IELTS band score required for admission into a university in Finland, you must get score as high as possible. But at some universities, score of above 5.5 will be sufficient. But, keep in mind that to stay in a safe side, you must aim to score above at least 6.5. Rate it!
