It is not mandatory to do GMAT to get admitted in all business schools of UK. However, most of the top business schools use GMAT as one of the tool to measure the eligibility of the student. It is always good to submit GMAT score along with the application as it measures ability of the student on variety of skills like decision making, leadership, calculation, and timing which are very important qualities that the business schools are searching for to admit student in their MBA program.

Different business schools in UK have different GMAT score requirements to enroll student in their MBA program. The average overall GMAT score in top business schools of UK is 680. Most of the normal business schools in UK often accepts student with GMAT score of 550 or above. However, exception exists on the minimum acceptable GMAT score. None of the business schools in UK mention minimum scores required in quantitative or verbal or analytical writing assessment section of GMAT. The higher score in each section is always better.

700 GMAT score is required for studying in UK top Universities.

You will need GMAT score between 670 to 702.

For taking admission in the best universites of UK, you will need GMAT score between 675 to 710.
