Question Description
Sir, I want to do MS in Mechanical Engineering. I have got very low scores in TOEFL and GRE. In GRE I have scored 890 and in TOEFL iBT I have scored 68. Can you suggest me some universities which accept my scores for fall 2009? Is there any possibility of funding because my undergraduate aggregate is 70%?
Answer

You have got quite good undergraduate aggregate. With 70% score in undergraduate level, you can get scholarship at some universities but your TOEFL score is extremely poor. With this score youíll not even get admission. But, at some universities, you can apply for conditional admission. Under conditional admission, youíll have to join ESL (English as a Secondary Language) program. Your GRE score isnít good. It is quite difficult to find a good university for admission with your GRE score. However, Iíll give you a list of some universities which may accept you for admission.

Here are some universities where you may be eligible to apply:

Carnegie Mellon University

Johns Hopkins University
