Question Description
Is it really easier to transfer to a better university after completing a semester in U.S University from which we got I20? I heard that I can transfer to other university easily after I completed first semester. Is it true? Also, is it true that the scholarship is transferable? If I can get transferred which university issues me masters certificate, first one or latter one?

Whether it will be easy to transfer to a better university after completing a semester at some university will depend on your academic performances, university you are transferring to, university you are transferring from, and some other factors.

Most of the reputed universities have minimum credit hours set, which have to be completed before you can apply for admission as a transfer student, and all of these credit hours canít be completed within a semester. Even at the good universities without minimum credit hours requirements, getting an admission will not be so easy unless your previous academic performances and scores in standardized tests.

If you really want to transfer to another school after completing a semester at one university, it is better to choose to transfer to a community college or to other quite less reputed universities. Usually, it is easy to transfer into a university within same or neighboring states.
