What can be the source of income for visa interview?

Question Description
How to show enough funds for visa interview? What are the income source that can be shown during visa process to the consular? Isn't the home rent, dividend from equity shares, salaries source of income?
Answer

For obtaining student visa you must show you financial ability to pay for university charges and living costs. With funds you'll also have to show source from where you've collected these funds. The source of income might be any thing that generates income for you. It surely can be home rent, divident from equity shares, salaries. You'll need to show some documents so that consular can verify you source of income.
