Question Description
How many students of total students are granted US student visa by US embassy? Is visa success rate for USA high or low?
Answer

Visa success rate for USA depends on your country of residence. In some countries like: Japan, Australia, France, New Zealand, Sweden, it is above 90%. While in India, it is around 60%. But, in countries like Nepal, China, Myanmar, Bangladesh..... it is below 50%.

You must be aware that visa success rate will not have any effect on your chance of obtaining a visa. If you qualify for a visa, you'll be approved; otherwise you'll get rejected. The visa consular looks at three things before issuing you a visa:

1. Your ability to afford your stay and studies in USA
2. Your intention to study
3. Whether you'll return back after studies or not

If you can satisfy the consular on all of these three points, there is no question of getting rejected.
