Answer

Australian Government provides opportunity for international students to apply for PR (Permanent Resident) certificate after completion of your studies.

Here I'll mention some criteria with which you'll be eligible to immigrate to Australia.

1. Your age must not be above 45 years and below 18 years
2. Your occupation must be listed in SOL (Skilled Occupation List)
3. Proof of Proficiency in English language
4. Point for your skill either 60 or 50 + degree holder or 40 + diploma
4. You must have worked with your skill for last 12 months

If you satisfy these criteria, it is most probable that you'll be accepted for PR. The time for receiving Australian PR varies from six month to few years.

You'll find detail information SOL in this page:
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/1121i.pdf.
This page includes all the information about skills accepted for PR. All the skills are listed with the points given for them when you apply for PR.
