Question Description
I had my International passport stolen by robbers. However, Iíve got another passport to apply for a visa. But if the visa officer asks me about my lost passport, can I use affidavit as an evidence to prove my international passport was truly stolen.
Answer

Generally, the consular doesnít ask about lost passport. However, if youíre asked, you can use anything that proves your passport was stolen. The proof can be of any form. It can either be a police certificate stating youíve truly lost your passport or it can even be an affidavit.
