To study in Malaysia as an international student, you’ll have to obtain a study pass. Students from China have to receive this pass prior to entering Malaysia. Other students who have been approved by educational institution in Malaysia to study there should obtain a study pass prior to entering Malaysia.

These are documents required to apply for study pass:
Letter acceptance from university or college in Malaysia
Completely filled IMM application form
A valid passport or travel document
Two recently taken passport photographs
