Question Description
I am planning to do my PG course in Dubai. I'm confused whether I can work part-time in Dubai on student visa to earn some money and pay back my loan in India.
Answers

Currently, students studying in Dubai on residence permit are not allowed to get involved in part-time jobs. However, they can have internships. Internship is considered different than job. Internship is usually an assistantship provided by a school you’ve joined in your field of study. You’ll require good GPA (3.0 or above) to be eligible to apply for an internship.

If you get an internship, you can work as an intern for 20 hours a week. However, it will be 40 hours a week during vacations.

The job market is quite competitive, so be prepared to spend a few months searching in order to secure a quality full time, reasonably paid job. You should therefore make sure you are able to financially support yourself during this time.Students may take up unpaid internships but must get permission from their respective university before starting the internship.
