I am accepted for 4 year course in USA. It costs me $20,000 per year and my sponsor has 4 children. So how much bank balance in my sponsor's account should I show to apply for a visa?
The bank balance you show while you apply for a visa must be sufficient to support your life and studies for at least one academic year. So add the total tuition fee and other charges along with your estimated living costs for one year in USA. The result you get is the amount of bank balance you must have to apply for a student visa. It is always good to show as much bank balance as possible to prove you will never go short of money during your studies. More money in bank account means strong economic status which increases the probability of obtaining a visa.
