Can I apply for the Finnish student visa with 5 band score in IELTS?

I got 5 band scores in IELTS. Can I get a study visa for Finland? What is the minimum IELTS band score required to apply for the Finnish visa?

If you have got an admission at the university there, then you may apply. But, I don’t think any university in Finland will accept you with 5.0 band score in IELTS. The minimum band score that most of the universities seek is 6.0. Some universities, including the University of Helsinki, may offer you conditional admission for some programs. If you are offered a conditional admission, you will be allowed to join a language course (English or Finnish) when you are there. After you complete their language course, they’ll test your language level. If you qualify, you’ll get a full admission. Rate it!
