To get a study visa and residence permit, you must be at least 18 years old. Any student whose age is over 18 is eligible to obtain Finnish study visa and residence permit.

I don't think there is any maximum age limit for obtaining a study permit. A person of any age can be a student. Therefore, any rule to restrict an older person from studying doesn't seem applicable.
