What is point based student visa system of UK? How many points do I need to get student visa of UK under Tier 4 General Student Visa? How can I get such points?
The points-based (PBS) tier 4 student visa system is a system for managing migration of the students wishing to enter the UK for their studies.
You need to have total of 40 points in order to obtain student visa of UK. Getting 40 points is not so difficult task if you are good student. You can get 30 points on just having a valid Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies from a Tier 4 sponsor and remaining 10 points on just showing enough money to cover course fees and monthly living costs.
If you are genuine student, getting 30 points is not that difficult task for you because universities and colleges in UK will just need a proof of good academic records till your previous level of studies and proficiency in English language to issue you the confirmation of acceptance letter. However, you may require paying application fees or the portion of your course fees to issue you the letter of confirmation of acceptance.
If you have good financing ability to support your course fees and monthly living expenses, then the proof of it like the bank balances, income certificates will work to get yourself another 10 points.
